SOP® C CALF

SOP C CALF is a specific product for calves while on a milk diet. It creates a healthier environment for your calves. It has the same advantages as SOP C COW but is formulated considering the milk nutrition of the calves, which results in a particular type of manure, as well as the specifc illnesses of this age range.

The results recorded most frequently by producers are a reduction of;
pathogenic micro-organisms, especially coliforms
nasty odors and ammonia gas
scours and coughs
larvae and flies

Flies are often the cause for a reduction in animal performance. Treatment with SOP products reduces egg deposits in bedding material and thereby reduces total fly numbers. The graph to the right illustrates the reduction in number of larvae and pupae.
