What is ASAP®?

In today's fast moving world time is valuable. This is especially true on dairy operations where producers and their employees are conducting multiple tasks throughout a day in hopes of making the farm the most profitable. And one thought that is always at the back of a producer"s mind..."Are my cows getting pregnant?"

Accelerated Genetics ASAP® (Accelerated Synchronization Assistance Program) is a SOLUTION for producers with these types of concerns. ASAP® was developed to assist all sizes of dairy and beef operations to simplify and manage their reproduction program using proven reproductive synchronization programs. The goals of ASAP® are getting more pregnancies improving time management providing a cow-side tool that is user friendly and giving technical and reproduction support.

What is ASAP®?
ASAP® is a computer program that will help you get control of your cows reproduction. Many producers accept that there is room for improvement in their reproduction plan but they just do not know where to begin because you do not know where they are. With ASAP® you define your management goals to be successful in your reproduction program by providing desired management information as follows:

• Voluntary waiting period
• Minimum breeding age for heifers
• First pregnancy check
• Second pregnancy check (if desired)
• Dry period
• Time of the day to work with reproduction

You can modify your basic information at any time. After you enter all your animals into the ASAP® program you can build specific synchronization programs from all available protocols for the synchronization of estrus.

ASAP® can greatly help you simplify reproductive management. You can have on-screen access to individual and group information. Also printed reports will give you the most updated information which include:

• Today's ASAP® activities to perform.
• Next scheduled ASAP® activities.
• Pregnant Cows: List of pregnant cows in order of expected due date and sorted by production status (lactating dry or heifers).
• Pregnancy Check: List of animals scheduled for first or second pregnancy check.
• All Animals: List of all animals on the farm with the following information:
  1. ID(name or number)
  2. Pen Name or Number
  3. Synchronization Group ID#
  4. Reproductive Status
  5. Days Since Breeding
  6. Days in Milk
  7. Productive Status
  8. Last Event Preformed to Each Animal
• Selected Synchronization Group: Complete list of scheduled activities and hormonal treatments for specific synchronization groups.
• Special Needs Group: Lists all animals you have set as 'non-eligible to be bred' sorted by different categories.
