New Dairy Sire Releases For Accelerated Genetics
Accelerated Genetics experienced an excellent dairy proof run in April. 014HO04929 Man-O-Man continues to hold strong and is the #4 high TPI sire within the breed. Other great O-man sons who continue to lead in the industry included 014HO04876 Paxton, 014HO04956 Dotson, 014HO04924 Kramer and 014HO04916 Jake. Accelerated Genetics is also excited about the variety of new sires now available:
Accelerated Genetics Holds Management Seminars
It was standing room only at a recent Beef Management Seminar held in Janesville, Wis., at the beginning of March. Producers from around the area gathered at Damon's Grill to listen to Don Trimmer, Director of Beef Programs at Accelerated Genetics, give a beef sire presentation highlighting Accelerated Genetics' tremendous beef sire line-up. There were also a Farm Products presentation that addressed how to: rehydrate your cows and heifers after calving using Bovine Accellyte, getting calves off to a great start using Tri-Start Jr. boluses and helping producer's breeding program with Accel Fortifier.
Another series of Dairy Management Seminars were also held throughout the state of Wisconsin in February and March. These meetings drew in numerous dairy producers that listened to Farm Product Specialists cover topics such as feeding medicated milk replacers, how to handle moldy feed, improving fresh cow performance as well as a dairy sire presentation on Accelerated Genetics' top sires.
