Accelerated Genetics Releases New February Dairy Proofs Highlights

Accelerated Genetics already powerful and balanced genetic lineup continues to impress and has added a few new sires to improve your herd. Current high demand and worldly popular sires such 014HO04099 Billion, 014HO04026 Airraid, 014HO03831 Marion, 014HO03597 Potter, 014HO04148 Nifty and 014HO04056 Decker continue to lead the way with strong reliabilities and impressive production and type proofs.

New PACE graduates 014HO03964 Bob, 014HO04244 Glascow, 014HO04229 Wes, 014HO04250 Biz, 014HO4213 George, 014JE00406 Blueprint, 014GU00297 Hudson and 014BS00307 Demon all add more power with new pedigrees. The greatest strength of the Accelerated Genetics lineup is the diversity to offer outstanding sires to meet all markets. Let me summarize those great sires for you.

Net Merit Leaders

Dairy producers selecting for Net Merit continue to have a big-time selection with 014HO04148 Nifty now leading the way after increasing 37 NM$ to +559 NM$. He now is also over +1000M and continues to rank high in PL (+5.5), SCS (+2.66), and DPR (+1.5) as well as TPI at +1799. Nifty also adds a unique non-Bellwood Marshall pedigree, being a Bombay from a Zebo from a Target. He is a foot and leg specialist at +2.17 FLC and makes a great mating on daughters of Ito, Finley, Titanic, Galleon, Foundation, and Lucente.
Ranking right behind Nifty on Net Merit is 014HO4099 Billion at +530 NM$. This BW Marshall son from a Duster dam continues to rank high at +1890 TPI and has been used around the world as a sire of sons. He made increases in Milk (+1757), Fat (+48), and Protein (+52) and continues to catch your attention with his phenomenal SCS of +2.65 and his high PL at +3.5. Using him on heifers is another option with his 7% CE rating and his outstanding Type (+1.90), UDC (+1.53) and FLC (+2.21).

Country-Aire Glascow 4441

New PACE graduate 014HO03964 Bob graduates with an impressive Net Merit of +513 NM$, giving Accelerated Genetics a third +500 NM$ sire. This Ricecrest Marshall son ranks high at +1789M, +90F with +.09%F, +68P with +.05%P as well as +1780 TPI. Bob sires angularity with high, wide rear udders and makes a great mating on daughters of Boss Iron, Pyrex, Lon, Fired, and Juror Ford.

014HO04244 Glascow is a balanced genetic package at +384 NM$. This PACE graduate is an Orion son from an Excellent Emory is +1042M, +42F with +.02%F, +36P with +.02%P as well as +1.30 PTAT, +1.45 UDC, and +2.75 FLC. His daughters have outstanding foot angle, high wide rear udders, snug fore udders and deep udder cleft. He will mate well on daughters of Galleon, Titanic, Roy and Dutch Boy.

Elite Type Leaders

High type is always in demand and breed leading PACE graduate 014HO04026 Airraid continues to impress at +2.87 PTAT, +2.44 UDC, +2.73 FLC, and +1888 TPI. His demand around the world is at an all time high especially with his increases in production to +1875M, +65F, and +40P. Look for his second crop calves to hit the ground this spring.

Velvet Violine

014HO4056 Decker now has a MACE type proof with 149 daughters and still stands out at +2.47 PTAT, +2.93 UDC and +2.50 FLC. He also has dropped to 7% SCE making him a perfect fit in heifer breeding programs.

Ranking third for type in the lineup is Winner’s Circle graduate 202HO00231 Velvet who has created quite a stir with his eye catching type pattern. He graduates with 67 daughters in 38 herds in his MACE proof for type of +2.26 PTAT, +2.71 UDC, and +0.69 FLC. His daughters excel in stature, dairy form, body depth and thurl width. Velvet’s udder linears are phenomenal being high and wide in the rear, extremely shallow with super cleft, and ideal teat size and placement. His pedigree is just as impressive as he is a Silky Gibson son from an EX-92-4E Comestar Leader and his grandam is an Excellent Hanover-Hill Raider. Rock Creek Wes 341 GP-82

14HO04229 Wes is the first Dutch Boy son to graduate from the PACE program and his dam is an EX-92 Rudolph. He ranks high with a PL of +3.5 and a DPR of +0.6. He adds slope to the rump with extremely high and wide rear udders and high components. Wes will work best on daughters of Ito, Pyrex, and Joker.

PACE graduate 014HO04250 Biz is another Dutch Boy son from a Rudolph daughter specializing in health traits. He is +3.7 PL, 3.00 SCS, and +.9 DPR and combines that with +1238M and 7% SCE. Biz’s daughters are tall and dairy with snug udders and make logical matings on daughters of Lon, Boss Iron, High Metro, and Morty.

Pure Production Leaders

Foster Farms George 4086

014HO03831 Marion continues to lead the pack for pure production as he made improvements in Milk (+3152), Fat (+83), and Protein (+72).


014HO04213 George is the third Dutch Boy son to graduate from PACE and he does it with lots of milk at +2284M, +64F, +68P, +374 NM$ and is +1.07 PTAT. He is a calving ease specialist at 7% and sires daughters that have great frames with body depth and width, wide rear udders, and close teat placement. George should make a good mating on daughters of Lon, Nelson, Joker, and Boss Iron.

Colored Breed New Releases

4-J Blueprint 3130

014JE00406 Blueprint graduates at the top of the class being Accelerated Genetics’ highest JPI sire and the #6 JPI sire of the breed. He is a Heino son, the Danish components specialist, and his dam is a premier Berretta daughter who is classified VG-88% with many elite records. Blueprint provides a great combination of production and components with +855M, +75F with +.19%F, and +54P with +.12%P along with Net Merit at +384. He is a low EFI sire at 4.9% and sires more type than many low EFI sires at +0.80 PTAT. Blueprint’s daughters are tall, strong, and dairy with some slope to the rump and a steep foot angle. Rear udders are high and wide with deep udder cleft. He will make great matings on daughters of Blair, Hallmark, Lemvig, Paramount, Parade, and Barkly.

014GU00297 Hudson also graduates as a valedictorian at +181 PTI making him the #2 PTI sire. He has a unique pedigree being a Fortress son from an EX-92 Velour daughter with a string of elite records and lifetime totals over 113,000 milk. He is a high milk sire at +1580M and the #2 protein sire of the breed at +44P. His daughters are deep, wide, tall and strong with phenomenal rear udders.

014BS00307 Demon is an early Jolt son showing lots of promise. He sires high components at +.05%F and +.07%P with great udders. His initial type proof is exciting at +0.80 PTAT and he makes a complimentary mating to daughters of Eagle, Brinks, and Prelude.
