WI FFA Auction to be held at Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show in Oshkosh (3/15/07)
GREEN BAY, Wis. – A silent auction to benefit the Wisconsin FFA Foundation will be held each day of the 47th Annual Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show, March 27 through March 29. The show is Wisconsin’s largest spring farm expo and is held on the grounds of the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh.
“We feel this is one more way we can support FFA and agricultural education in Wisconsin,” says Michael Kawleski, Agribusiness Market Leader for Wisconsin Public Service and past state FFA president. The Wisconsin FFA Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(C)3 organization committed to supporting the educational and leadership training activities of the Wisconsin Association of FFA.
The FFA Foundation auction takes place in Hangar D on the EAA Grounds, with new auction items displayed each day of the show. The silent auction will run 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Successful bidders will be able to pay for and take home their items at the end of each show day. Last year’s auction raised more than $2,500.
