Accelerated Genetics Adds Brown as Staff Veterinarian (1/15/08)

Accelerated Genetics is pleased to announce the addition of David Brown as a Staff Veterinarian. In this position, Brown will oversee bull health programs and testing to meet requirements for international and domestic semen sales.

Brown is a graduate of Iowa State with degrees in Zoology (B.S.) and Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.). Previously, Brown was a self-employed Veterinarian for 18 years. Brown grew up in Connecticut where his father worked in dairy extension; this exposure developed his interest in dairy cattle.

Professionally, Brown is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA.) Outside of Veterinary Medicine Brown is a home Bible study teacher as well as a member of the United States Cycling Federation. Brown is married to wife Jodie and has a son, Stephen.
